When baby Theo’s birth mother surrenders him to adoption, she has 2 months to change her mind. During this time 2-day-old is entrusted to Jean (Gilles Lellouche, C’est la vie!), his initial foster parent, while his case primary worker Karine (Sandrine Kiberlain, Violette) and her team monitor his wellbeing as they search for potential parents for the little boy.
Their collective drive to ensure the infant has a secure future is at the heart of the film, as we gain various levels of insights into their relationships and struggles; both personal and professional.
A warm, human drama about the adoption system in France and the people it touches.
